I had the pleasure of hanging out at Melbourne’s premier rooftop bar Siglo a few days ago.  Famous for some the best wines and cocktails available in our fair city, Siglo’s rooftop is a little hard to find, but that is what adds to the appeal of this cool space.  Decked out out in french style café tables and chairs this rooftop, overlooking Parliament House, has such an old world charm that it reminds me of Paris in so many ways.  If you haven’t been, you must go there over the summer.

In this shoot I’m wearing my favourite colour of the season.  I am in love with most shades of Green this year, everything from olive, to sage and emerald.  This bold number is not for the faint hearted, but it can easily be toned back with contrast trousers for a more relaxed look.  Finished with a wider notch lapel, patch pockets and and two and half button, or a tre su due, as the Italians call it, this jacket is designed to fit like a two button but cleverly disguises and third button at the lapel roll.  Notice the hand made button holes, they are distinctive in shape with a highlight colour that compliments the green beautifully.

The trousers are slightly higher in the rise, with a 5cm waistband.  Designed to sit higher and elongate the body, the waistband foregoes belt loops in preference of side tabs which help adjust the size a little when needed. I really like this detail as it means you don’t have to worry about the finding that belt to match your shoes.

Thank you to the fine folks at #siglo@springstevents for taking such good care of us @gracepetrou
